 | IntroductionMy name is Paige Dorso. I am a senior at Central Connecticut State University. My major is Elementary Education with a focus in English. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I am so glad I am pursuing my dream. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family, friends, and my two cats, Turk and JD. Our School Currently, I am doing my fieldwork at Naylor CCSU Leadership Academy. It is a great school in a culturally rich area of Hartford. I am in a fifth grade classroom this semester where I teach lessons and help out my cooperative teacher. |
Philosophy
I believe that children at an elementary level have the opportunity to be creative and discover who they are. I feel that education should be about finding out what skills you have and using them to create a better world to live in. By creating lessons in the classroom that involve Gardners' multiple intelligences, my students will find various ways of thinking that work best for them in order to succeed in their futures.
